 I have been a pastoral counselor since 1989 when I completed my doctoral work in the Psychology of Religion. Since that I time I have served on the staffs of two churches, directed a counselor center, operated a private practice, and served as a consultant to a few agencies. I opened my private practice in 2005, and now participate in the ministry of the DaySpring Baptist Church.
I am married to Holly Eades, a former 5th grade teacher who is now enjoying a second career as a registered nurse. She is currently working with Providence Hospice. Her upbringing as a missionary kid in Venezuala not only fostered a love for the latin culture, but afforded her a fluency in Spanish that has been invaluable in her work as a nurse. We have three children, Abigail, Benjamin, and Olivia.
