Premarriage counseling has generally been shown to improve the relational stability and satisfaction of couples entering the sometimes rocky path of marriage.  In some studies the drop in the divorce rate among couples who've been through premarriage counseling is rather substantial.  

I offer a 4 session premarriage counseling "package" centers around 3 tools: 1)the Foccus for Marriage inventory, 2) a personality inventory, and 3) a budget worksheet.   These tools help discuss with couples issues that commonly generate stress in marriages.

The cost is $380 for the 4 sessions.  I also include a follow up session 6 months after the marriage.  There is no charge for the follow up.

I also encourage couples to take the Enneagram Inventory at www.enneagraminstitute.com.  I find this inventory to be particularly helpful for both individual and relational growth.  The secton on Type Compatibilities describes the ways in which different type combinations both compliment and challenge each other.
